Verdant Kitchen — local search rebuild

A concept project showing how a single-location restaurant should be structured for local search: menu markup, opening hours, and a booking path that works in two taps.

Concept project. Self-initiated work created to demonstrate capability — not a commissioned client engagement.

The brief we set ourselves

Most restaurant sites bury the two things people actually want: the menu and a table. This concept puts both above the fold and still ranks.

What we made

A one-page site with a real HTML menu — not a PDF — marked up so search engines can read every dish, plus LocalBusiness and OpeningHours structured data.

The part that mattered

The booking button is a link, not a script. It works before any JavaScript has run.
